Privacy policy

Last updated:

This website is a static information site. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no resources from third-party servers. Below we explain which data is nevertheless processed when you visit the site or contact us, and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Software Consulting Tiesler d.o.o.
Ul. Vida Ročića 32
10000 Zagreb, Croatia
Email: info@tiesler-consulting.com

2. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Plus Hosting Grupa d.o.o., Valturska ulica 82, 52100 Pula, Hrvatska. When you open a page, the hosting provider's web server automatically records technical access data in log files: the requested URL, the date and time of the request, the transferred data volume, the referring page, the browser and operating system used, and the IP address of the requesting device.

This data is processed to deliver the website, to keep it stable and secure and to detect and prevent attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after no more than 14 days unless a security incident requires longer storage. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

3. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of the enquiry) in order to answer it. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The data is stored for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and beyond that only where statutory retention periods (for example for business correspondence and accounting) require it.

4. Cookies, local storage and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services.

If you switch the colour theme or the language, the browser stores that preference locally on your device (local storage) so the site can apply it on your next visit. This information never leaves your device, contains no personal data and is technically necessary for the function you requested. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

The entry page at the root of this domain chooses a language version for you and forwards you to it. That choice is made entirely in your browser, from the language preferences it reports and, if those do not match, from its time zone setting. No request is sent anywhere for this, your IP address is not evaluated for it, and nothing is stored unless you pick a language yourself. Every language version stays reachable at its own address and through the language menu at the top of every page.

5. Fonts, video and other media

All fonts, images and videos are delivered from our own hosting. No connection is made to font services, content delivery networks or video platforms of third parties, so no data is transmitted to them.

6. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Personal data is disclosed only to the hosting provider named above, as a processor, and to third parties where we are legally obliged to do so. Data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • access to the data we hold about you (Article 15),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16),
  • erasure (Article 17),
  • restriction of processing (Article 18),
  • data portability (Article 20),
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21),
  • withdrawal of any consent given, with effect for the future (Article 7(3)).

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 1.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for Software Consulting Tiesler d.o.o. is the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia. You may also contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
